Active participation on semeinars laboratory excercises - upto 30 points.
Final exam - upto 70 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
theoretical and practical knowledge in thearea of NPPs operation. Collection of special knowledge and practical skills.
Utilisation of NPP in electric grid, control of NPPs. Heat generation and transfer in reactor. Operation of the primary circuit. Changes in isotopic composition of nuclear fuel. Reactivity coefficient. Buel burn-up and peproduction. secondary circuit function. Commissioning of NPPs. Quality assurance. Operational support activities. Management and control systems. Metrology at NPPs. Role of NPP in enegry sustem for secure energy supply.
