Robotics and Cybernetics - master (compulsory), 3. semester
|Level of study:||2.|
|Prerequisites for registration:||none|
|Three tests, each 10 points. The condition is to obtain at least 3 points in each test. Mandatory fulfillment of all laboratory excercises or individual excercises respectively.|
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|After finishing of the subject the student will understand the basic principles of computational intelligence (soft computing) as: fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks and evolutionary algorithms. He will be able to apply these approaches in solving practical tasks in the control engineering area. He will be able to implement these approaches in controller design, robust control design, control algorithm design, modelling of nonlinear dynamic systems, static optimisation, logistic tasks etc.|
|1. Computational Intelligence, overview.
2. Fuzzy logic, principle.
3. Using fuzzy logic in conrol, fuzzy regulation.
4. Fuzzy supervisory control, fuzzy adaptation.
5. Artificial neural networks (ANS), overview.
6. Using ANS in modelling of nonlinear dynamic systems.
7. Using ANS in process control.
8. Genetic Algorithms (GA).
