|Tests and mastering of particular laboratory techniques; synthesis of selected organic compounds.|
Certified credit is based on results from the continuous assessment. It is possible to achieve 100 points maximum. To pass the course successfully, the student must achieve at least 56 points.
Students are graded as follows: A 101-110 points, B 91-100 points, C 81-90 points, D 71.5-80 points, E 61.6-79 points.
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Mastering the basic laboratory techniques and procedures in the synthesis of organic compounds.|
|Basic laboratory techniques for separation and purification of organic compounds:
crystallization, distillation at atmospheric pressure, distillation under reduced pressure, steam distillation, thin layer chromatography, extraction. Synthesis of selected organic compounds.
