Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Acquisition of practical knowledges and skills in the area of real surfaces and colloids and their properties. Evaluation of experiments, processing and discussion of the results.
Course contents:
Treatment of material surfaces, activation in discharge, thin film coating, surface energy, adhesion, spectral and optical properties, water sorption by paper, rheology of printing inks, colloid preparation, determination of critical micelar concentration and molar mass of molecular colloids.
