|During the semester project shall be submitted that is rated. The final grade is generated with the following weights: 20% - project, 80% - exam.|
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students will acquire the theoretical knowledge of river processes in stream-channels and their influence on morphological development of the channel. The principles of proposing the parameters of the river regulations with respect to the flood protection, channel stability and the ecosystem quality are explained in the subject.
The second part of the subject is aimed at the ecological aspects of the river training and the strategy of improving the quality of the Slovak streams. Theoretical knowledge will be applied during the proposal of the river regulation with the support of the computing technique.

Principles of complex solving of river training.
