Assesment methods:
Written and oral test at the end of the semester - max. 50 points.
Attendance in seminars, checked homeworks and assignments. 2 absences permitted, the rest must be made up for in one of the seminars of the same level.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student acquires the ability to communicate in everyday situations.Introduction into study of English. Revision of grammar school knowledge, with regard to grammar and vocabulary. Basics of technical terminology, morphology and syntax.
 
Course contents:
Introduction into study of English. Revision od grammar: articles, prepositions, gramatical tenses
- basic verbs, irregular verbs, plural of nouns, questions and negative forms. Modal verbs, gerund. Expressing hypotesis and predictions. Basic technical terminology.
