Assesment methods:
The sum of points for the tests is 35. Students will succesfully pass the tests if they earn at least 35 points. Students will get credits for the course if they succesfully pass both, the written tests and the oral exam. Students are graded as follows:
A 100 - 91 points, B 90 - 81 points, C 80 - 71 points, D 70 -61 points, E 50 - 60 points
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The course provides basic knowledge of microprocessor control systems, electrical and mechanical systems. Learn the principles of the selected sensors, signal processing, display signals, principles of actuators. Improve the knowledge of transfer functions, frequency response, P, PI, PD and PID controllers, digital logic, microprocessors, and input output units. Use this knowledge in the design of mechatronic systems
Course contents:
* Sensor and tranducers, signal conditioning, data presentation systems
* Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical actuators
* Dynamic response, transfer function, frequency response
* P, I, D, PD, PI, PID controllers, determination of constants
* Digital systems, Boolean algebra, Logical gates and their applications
* Microprocessor Systems
* Mechatronic systems and designing mechatronics systems
