Assesment methods:
Tests, homeworks, short essays.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Acquiring the ability to communicate in everyday situations, mastering grammar structures to support communication on intermediate level, reading and listening with comprehension, writing short essays on given topics. Basics of professional language. Reading and translating technical texts.
Course contents:
Developing more advanced language skills - speaking, reading and listening with comprehension. Mastering intermediate grammar - Present, Future and Past tenses. Writing short essays. Topics for training skills: Traveling, Study, Work, Free time. Basics of professional language. Reading and translating technical texts. Basic topics: Mathematics, geometry, measurement, physics, materials. Presentation techniques.
