Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student gains the knowledge about the basics of the enterprise financial management and the
external financial environment. He comprehends (1) how the quality issues are reflected in the financial
categories and the basic financial documents of the company, and (2) how the cycle of active
capital is related to the quality management. He gets the knowledge of the financial criteria used to the
investment projects' assessment and learns to apply them at the quality project assessment. He understands the fundamental relations between the quality and external trade activities, as well as the reflection of these issues in the balance of payments. They acquaint with the basic methods for financing of the innovations and quality in the international business.
 
Course contents:
1 - External financial environment of enterprise (tax system, banking system) and its impact on possibilities to finance the innovations and the quality improvement
2 - The reflection of the quality to the basic financial documents of enterprise and financial analysis
3 -The cycle of active capital from the
viewpoint of quality management
4 - Financial criteria for assessment the projects relating on innovation and quality improvement. The choice of capital structure.
5 - The quality and the foreign trade activities of enterprise, and the relationship to balance of payments.
6 -Financing of innovation and
quality in international business.
