Assesment methods:
The sum of points for the tests is 35. Students will succesfully pass the tests if they earn at least 35 points. Students will get credits for the course if they succesfully pass both, the written tests and the oral exam. Students are graded as follows:
A 100 - 91 points, B 90 - 81 points, C 80 - 71 points, D 70 -61 points, E 50 - 60 points
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will extend his review and knowledge in the area of modeling and simulation of robot mechanisms. Student obtain experiences in the area of numerical analysis and creation the scripts for solving the kinematic mechanisms. He will learn how to create scritps in programm Matlab for different methods of kinematic and dynamic analysis of robot mechanisms as well as their animation in Matlab
Course contents:
• Introduction to modeling the kinematic mechanisms
• Position analysis of kinematic mechanism and animation of motion
• Velocity and Acceleration Analysis using fundamental theory of kinematics
• Velocity and Acceleration Analysi using the Loop and Derivation method
• Dynamic Force analysis of kinematic mechanism
• Dynamic Force analysis using method of dyads
• Dynamic Force analysis using the Loop method
• Analytic dynamic of open kinemac chains
