Assesment methods:
During the semester there will be two written test, for 30 points. Student will obtain a mark A for at least 55 points, to obtain B must have at least 50 points, the C is for at least 45 points, the evaluation of at least 40 points is D and E on the evaluation of at least 35 points .
Final assessment reflects the solving quality of a given project (40%),

Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The goal of the subject is to obtain knowledge of construction equipment and the use of modern means of transport, handling and storage in automated production systems. Point out the relation between the structural and technological relationship facilities in the design and operation of manufacturing systems.

Course contents:
General aspects of handling, transport and storage in automated production systems. Analysis and design of material handling. Calculation of the amount of material transported by facilities of transport.
Facilities for handling, transport and storage (distribution).
Industrial robots and manipulators, classification of industrial robots and manipulators and their definition.
Basic design of PRaM.
Working bodies PRaM.
Transport systems. Conveyors (distribution, classification). Roller and roller tracks (collection, production and assembly lines, characteristic of transport objects).
Automated suspension lines. Automatic ground transport facilities.
Systems of automatically guided vehicles.
Handling - transport systems used in warehouses.
