Assesment methods:
During Semester students will write 2 tests. The sum of points for the test is 20 pionts. To pass the tests should be obtained in the sum at least 10 points. Exam, consisting of written and oral part is rated a maximum of 30 points. On successful completion of the exam should be obtained at least 18 points. Students will get credits for the subject if they successfully complete the written tests and exam. Evaluation is done as follows: A 46-50 points B 41-45 points C 37-40 points 32-36 points D, E 31-28 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire knowledge of structural design tools for machining and forming. They will learn the different methods of calculation and correction of shape cutting tools. Learn to calculate and work with concepts producibility cutting, durability and reliability of the cutting tool. Become familiar with current global trends in design and construction tools. The student will acquire knowledge of engineering design manufacturing assistive devices, understand the relationships and links between different technological procedures, learns to different calculation methods prescribed to ensure the production of precision machine parts, become familiar with current global trends in the design and use of plant engineering in practice.

1. Calculation of the cutting forces in changing the geometry of the cutting tool
2. Producibility cutting
3. Tool life
4. reliability of instrument
5. Motion correction and shaped cutting tool
6. The structural design strength of the cutting tool
7. The design and calculation tool for forming
8. The accuracy of the calculation of the production plant
9. Analysis of clamping forces
10. Construction methods and procedures to increase the rigidity of plant
