Assesment methods:
Skúška, skladajúca sa z písomnej a ústnej časti, je hodnotená maximálne 30 bodmi. Na úspešné absolvovanie skúšky je potrebné získať minimálne 18 bodov. Študent získa za predmet kredity ak úspešne absolvuje písomné testy a skúšku. Hodnotenie sa
robí nasledovne: A 46-50 bodov, B 41-45 bodov, C 37-40 bodov, D 32-36 bodov, E 31-28 bodov.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will expand knowledge with technological disciplines and material science. Learn and develop their skills and knowledge in the design and selection of cutting and forming tools and products. Learn the basics of the making of the starting surface of the cutting tool. Give an overview of the basic design elements of different types of cutting and forming tools. Give an overview of the design and fixtures. The student will become familiar with the methodology of technological workplace preparation.
 
Course contents:
1. Technological workplace , bond S- N - O - P.
2. Distribution of tools for machining and forming technology.
3. Way of creating the initial surface of the cutting tool - tool geometry , cutting force analysis.
4. The basic structural elements of different types of cutting tools.
5. The basic structural elements of different types of shaping tools.
6. Defining the concept formulation and its role in engineering practice.
7. Methodology for process plant design.
8. Definition and choice of base areas of the preparation , analysis clamping forces.
9. Technical - economic evaluation of the proposal preparation.
10. The current global trends in tools and products.
