Assesment methods:
During the semester there will be two written test, for 30 points. Student will obtain a mark A for at least 55 points, to obtain B must have at least 50 points, the C is for at least 45 points, the evaluation of at least 40 points is D and E on the evaluation of at least 35 points .
Final assessment reflects the solving quality of a given project (40%),
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Subject aims to present a more coherent approach to the theory of end-effector and peripheral devices, the principles of their design, to architecture of their structure and construction and consequently the specific solutions to document the application of this approach.
Course contents:
•Output Heads industrial robots (characteristics of separation, applications, constructions solutions),
•Trends in the construction of end effectors (recommendations for the selection of appropriate effector design for object manipulation ord technological applications),
•The equipment providing the function of complex automated manufacturing systems, peripherals.
•Peripheral devices for machining technology, welding, surface treatment technology, automated assembly, etc.
•Sample examples of robotic workstations solutions for technological applications.
