Assesment methods:
Student during the semester will release 4 assignments, as a condition of granting credit. The final exam consists of two parts (knowledge-based written and oral exam). The knowledge level are expressed as a percentage range: 92-100% of knowledge - A, 83-91% of knowledge - B, 74-82% of knowledge - C, 65-73% of knowledge - D, 56-64% of knowledge - E, 0-55% of knowledge - FX

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will obtain basic knowledge of design, construction and maintenance of equipment of chemical and food industries and methods of improving the design and operational reliability and safety.
Course contents:
Investment activity and basic documentation.
Selection of production equipment and its graphical representation.
Modern methods for the design activities.
Optimization of chemical and food products in the design.
Organization and realization construction.
Testing and maintenance services.
