Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of this subject is to extend the basic knowledge of non-linear continuum mechanics to the area of hyper-elasticity, plasticity and visco-plasticity.
 
Course contents:
- Hyper-elasticity, isotropy, incompressibility.
- Plasticity, types of hardening.
- Visco-plasticity, constitutive equations.
- Linearisation of basic equations .
- Radial-return mapping algorithm.
