Assesment methods:
Students will get credits of the course if they successfully pass the exam. The exam consists of both, writing and oral part. The maximum number of points for the exam is 20 and students will pass the exam successfully if they earn at least 11 points.

 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Getting a deep knowledge of foundry processes, particularly the progressive and unconventional processes related to the topic of dissertation thesis.
 
Course contents:
Processes of first, second and third generation mould manufacturing.
Impermanent moulds casting processes.
Permanent molds casting processes.
Casting within the increased external forces action.
High pressure die casting into a high vacuum. High pressure die casting with compression.
