Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Aim of the subject is enhancement the knowledge regarding weldability of steel and nonferrous metals, advanced fusion welding and solid state welding processes. Subject content also parts of alied processes - soldering and brazing, adhesive bonding, thermal cutting.
 
Course contents:
Weldability of steel and nonferrous metals. High-productive arc welding. Welding methods with laser. Stir friction, diffusion and magnetic pulse welding. Soldering with leadfree solder and brazing with active braze alloys. Adhesive bonding of metals. Advaced methods for metal cutting (laser beam, water jet).
