Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To obtain a deeper knowledge from theory the transmission of vibro-acoustic vibration and mutual interaction mechanical and acoustical vibration. To know formulate and solve more complicate problems from area of mechanical vibration and engineering acoustic as is area of vibro-acoustic diagnostic, vibroisolation, signal processing. To master the methods of creation the mathematical and physical models at the propagation of vibro-acoustic vibration in different surroundings. For chosen areas to master experimental methods, too.
Course contents:
The subject contains the methods of primary and secondary noise and vibration control. Specifically: transmission of waves, forces damped vibration, wave equation of longitudinal, transverse and torsional vibration, vibration of membranes and plates -- two dimensional equation, fundamental physical quantities of vibration, resonance, sources of vibration,
characteristics of acoustic vibration, levels, time signal, frequency spectrum, cepstrum, transmission of vibro-acoustic signal through surroundings, diagnostics model generating of vibro-acoustic signal, characteristics of signals and their transformation, reference frequency spectrum and reference mask, cepstral analysis, envelope analysis, speed frequency, severity vibration, detection of faults, condition and quality of the machines, sensing a analysis of vibro-acoustic signals, windows, sampling, filters, modal analysis, orbital analysis, detection of faults and reasons for different machines, transmission of vibro-acoustic vibration through structures, damping of mechanical vibration in structures, measurement of vibro-acoustic properties off resilient materials, resilient insertions, dynamic absorbers, sandwich structures, vibroisolation, properties of porous acoustics materials, resilient and vibroisolation materials, foam aluminium, European directives and legislative documents and standards about dynamic exhibition of machines, methodology of the measurement of vibration and noise, type and nature measurement, basic measuring system, microphone, sensors, multifunction analyser of vibration and noise, using the computers for signal analysis
