Assesment methods:
Individual project working out, consecutive assessment of partial study results. The final assessment consists of the individual project evaluation and the oral discourse.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The main goals of the subject is to gain the theoretical knowledges in specialistic fields of mechatronics and mechatronic systems joined with the content of dissertation work, e.g.: computational modeling and simulation of multiphysic fields in parts and systems made of homogeneous, smart and multifunctional materials; modeling of elastic vibration and controlled vibration; study of advanced structures of mechatronic systems of power and transmission systems of automobiles and electromobiles; methods and principles of design of mechatronic systems; modern approaches in control; comunication and smart systems, microsystems of technologies in automobiles; algorithms and structures of motion control of mechatronic systems.
 
Course contents:
Vibration of mechanical systems(Kutiš, Goga).
Mechanics of composite and multifunctional materials(Murín, Kutiš).
Modeling of coupled fields (Kutiš, Murín).
Advanced structures of mechatronic systems for automobiles and electromobiles(Ferencey, Bugár).
Power and transmission systems for automobiles and electromobiles(Ferencey, Bugár).
Methods and principles for design of the mechatronic systems for automobiles and electromobiles(Ferencey, Bugár).

Advanced approaches in control of mechatronic system I(Kozák, Huba, Rosinová, Kozáková).
Advanced approaches in control of mechatronic system II(Kozák, Huba, Rosinová, Kozáková).
Control of Mechatronic systems using internet(Žáková, Huba)
Hierarchical and embedded control systems of automobiles (Fuchs, Drahoš).
Communication systems in automobiles(Podhoranský, Drahoš).
Smart systems and microsystems for technologies in automobiles (Šturcel, Drahoš).
Algorithms and structures of motion control(Huba, Ferencey).

The supervisor specifies one theme from the content of the Subject of specialization I to PhD student in such a way, that this theme does not coincides with the specified theme from the content of the Subject of specialization II from the content of disertation work point of view.
