The student can obtain on exercises maximum 20 % of exam. Exam: Written part - 4 theoretical questions and 1 practical task to solving of problem - achieve at least 56 % of the realised writen test combined with the bonus evaluation of the exercises. Oral part - supplementary questions to profiling of evaluation result. The final evaluation is expressed as a sum of the obtained percentage values in each step of evaluation: 92 ÷ 100 (A), 83 ÷ 91 (B), 74 ÷ 82 (C), 65 ÷ 73 (D), 56 ÷ 64 (E), menej ako 56 (FX).
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student has knowledge about the composition, structure and properties of solids beyond the extent which he acquired in completing the course "Materials Science I". It is able to use the knowledge in evaluating the applicability and processability of metal, respectively. non-metallic materials for different processing technologies. Course objective is to combine knowledges about materials and the production technologies which can positively or negatively affect the properties of the processed material.
