Assesment methods:
Active participation in lectures
Through lectures, the student can get max. 10 points. In one selected lecture, students can demonstrate the knowledge they have acquired by solving a short test involving select answer questions. Solution time - 10-15 minutes.
Continuous exam
During the semester the student passes one continuous paper. The student can earn 10 points for a continuous paper. The interim essay consists of 10 questions.

Written exam
It is realized by a final test (max. 80 points).
Final evaluation from the subject
The final assessment of the subject is based on the points obtained from the interim evaluation and the written exam (10 + 10 + 80 = 100 points).

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Learning outcomes of the course unit Students gain knowledge of modeling in 3D CAD software using different methods. It will be explained as volume, surface, elemental and direct modeling. The student will be able to model complex shapes and also create drawing documentation for these components. He will be able to design complex shapes with respect to their production technology. The acquired knowledge will be used to create 3D assemblies.
Course contents:
- CA systems
- Inputs and outputs of CAD systems, modularity of CA systems
- Concepts of 3D modeling, geometric modeling
- Volume and surface modeling, modeling techniques,
- Basic and direct modeling (modeling techniques)
- CAD file formats, neutral formats
- Creating Drawing Documentation
- Creating assemblies
