Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Provide students with knowledge of the assembly to allow act as a bachelor at work in the role of engineer assistant or input knowledge for specialized master study of the technological orientation.
Course contents:
1. Positionf of the assembly in the production process - main factors influencing assembly, basic terminology
2. Assembled product - product parameters affecting assembly process - product size, product complexity, product family, product series, etc.
3. Importance of product design - DFA analysis
4. Assembly task - joining methods - folding, screwing, pressing, etc.
5. Creating assembly procedures
6. Analysis of assembly errors - POKA-YOKE principle, Ishikawa diagram and Paret analysis
7. Orientation of components and parts in assembly
8. Technical equipment in assembly - overview
9. Manual assembly - Pick to light systems, application of sensors, assistance systems
10. Methods of assembly time estimation - MTM, MOST, direct time measurement, video analysis
11. Ergonomics in assembly processes
12. Automation of assembly processes
13. The process of production and assembly of a passenger car with video presentation
