Learning outcomes of the course unit:
OOn completion of this course students will improve skills in using the graphics software AutoCAD such as creating, editing and displaying graphics objects and programming in AutoCAD.
Course contents:
User interface customization – import and export of *.cuix, new buttons (ribbon, panel, toolbar), custom commands (script, macro)
- 2D precise drafting – (temporary) snap, tracking, point filters, local and global coordinate system
- Text and Table – table creation and completing, data manipulation between AutoCAD and Excel
- Multileader – custom multileader styles
- Dynamic blocks in Civil Engineering and Constraints (dimensional and geometric)
- Hatch and Line types - create and edit hatch patterns and line types and loading into AutoCAD
- Plotting – import and create sheet sets, the advantages of Sheet Set Manager, Field – create and use with Sheets
- Add-ons and Plugins for AutoCAD (search, install and use)
- Programming in AutoCAD (Visual LISP and Visual Basic)
