Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Objective of the 1st stage:
Acquiring and mastering the design drawing as the most credible technique of an autonomous artistic exploration. The designer drawing as a way of thinking in the most natural way in the designing process applied for outlining the problem, searching for ideas and developing the form of an understandable information unit.

Objective of the 2nd stage:
Acquiring and mastering the multimedia presentation, the artistic expressive drawing of the final design idea by using classic and digital technology in the designer drawing.
Course contents:
1st stage:
- introduction to 1st stage of the course – explanation of the philosophy and theory of the designer drawing and designer way of thinking in the drawing process
- types and techniques of designer drawing, demonstration of designer drawing
- sketching ideas and designer’s concepts based on an inspiration resource
- sketching the analysis and form exploration in design process, experimenting with sketches
- generating solutions, development of design in drawing
- author’s expressive communication sketch suitable for feedback

2nd stage:
- introduction to 2nd stage of the course – explanation of the philosophy and theory of designer drawing
- types and techniques of the multimedia presentation of designer drawings, demonstration of designer drawings
- development of representative ideas of design in drawings
- experimenting and generating of sketch solutions
- persuasive, illustrative more complex sketching of ideas
- sophisticated expressive artistic presentation drawing
