Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Extending the student knowledge of modern photogrammetry through lectures in the subjects of Photogrammetry I. and Photogrammetry II. The student will extend his knowledge concerning modern methods of creating ortophoto-products, spatial image triangulation, spatial data acquisition for GIS creation and methods of airborne and spaceborne remote sensing as well. He will obtain practical experience in the area of mapping and image triangulation using methods of analytical and digital automated aerotriangulation.
Course contents:
•Basics and principle of photogrammetry.
•Modern instruments for primary photogrammetric data acquisition.
•Automation of the evaluation process using digital workstations based on the principle of image correlation and stereocorrelation of image pairs.
•Photogrammetric methods of point network compression. Independent models method. Block analytical aerotriangulation (BAAT). Principle of automated blocked aerotriangulation ISAT 2001 - Image Station.
•Photogrammetric mapping on large scales. Acquisition and actualization of spatial data for ZB GIS using digital photogrammetry methods.
•Principles of airborne and spaceborne remote sensing. Sensors and scanning systems of spaceborne remote sensing. Cartographic processing of spaceborne remote sensing data.
•Space photogrammetry.
•Airborne Laser Mapping Systems (LIDAR).
•Principles of radar mapping systems (SLAR, SAR, InSAR).
