Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student obtains knowledge on legislative and technical documents connected with geodetic activities in the field of preparation, realisation and operation of civil engineering structures. Deformation measurement, geodetic measurements for civil engineering, transportation engineering, water management and hydraulic engineering, energy lines, cable ways, optimisation of control networks. Special geodetic activities (nuclear power plants) and industry measurement.
Course contents:
1.Design, realisation, measurement and data processing of control networks. Stability control, structure and measurement optimisation.
2.Deformation measurement of civil engineering structures. Technical documents, standards. Measurement design. Data processing, analysis and interpretation.
3.Legislative and technical documentation connected to geodetic activities in the field of civil engineering structures (design, building and operation).
4.Geodetic activities in building and operation of structures -- civil engineering, transportation (bridges, tunnels, cable ways, etc.), water and hydraulic engineering (dams, water plants, water lines, environmental structures, etc.), energy lines, aviation.
5.City base map. High way base map. Unified railway map.
6.3D laser scanners -- airborne, terrestrial. Principle, structures, design, application.
