Presentation of research results and defense of the project.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will independently handle the specialized methodology of technical-economic calculations in the optimization of technical, economic and environmental parameters of the power system and its components. Graduate gets deep theoretical knowledge to solve new problems relating to the trading of electricity and to streamlining energy management of the country. They will learn how to formulate and solve non-standard tasks of development of liberalized electricity systems using modern computer technology.
Course contents:
The optimal structure of electricity sources (IRP).
The project of rationalization of electricity consumption (DSM).
Optimize the development of the power system.
Online application of technical and economic calculations in power engineering.
Internet and Intranet information systems in the power engineering
A power engineering and energy server - application examples.
Advertising in the liberalized electricity.
Trading of electricity. The cost and price of electricity.
Economy Greening electricity - a system of environmental quality.
