Title of the thesis:The stress strain analysis of the car chassis
Summary:This diploma thesis is devoted to the theme of the stress-strain analysis of the formula chassis SAE. The introductory part of this thesis is referred to the basic principle of numerical solutions by the finite element method (FEM). The main part of this thesis is devoted to the stress-strain analysis of a car chassis modeled in software CATIA using the FEM method in ANSYS. Such a designed frame was subjected to stress-strain analysis of the front, side and rear impact with calculated force in the ANSYS software. These things are carried out because to know the behavior and deformations of the car chassis while in a critical condition.
Key words:Car Chassis, Model, Static, Transient Analysis., CATIA V5, ANSYS Workbench
