Title of the thesis:The static and dynamic analysis of the motorbike frame
Summary:This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the static safety of the motorcycle frame. In the first chapters the work deals with the description of basic frames which is commonly used in motorcycles. Most of the work is devoted to assessing the static and dynamic strength of the frame of the selected motorcycle and the whole assembly considering the functional parts. The geometric model of the motorcycle that was created in the CAD system, as an assembly of individual parts, was imported into the Ansys Workbench environment. In this Ansys environment, static analyzes were performed on this model to assess static safety and calculate the stress distribution over the cross-sections of the structure. The results are documented in terms of displacements, deformations, and stress distributions calculated by von Mises.
Key words:motorbike, static analysis, ansys workbench
