|Summary:||The Thesis is a commented overview of a selection of results contained in six publications of the author (five in co-authorship), with full length copies of the papers attached
as Appendices. The central theme are super- and sub-additive transformations of aggregation functions, with emphasis on the existence of functions with given super- and sub-additive transformations. Numerous results addressing various aspects of this topic are presented and their applications are discussed. The exposition is permeated throughout by highlighting author’s contributions to individual topics.
