Title of the thesis:Properties of special material for FDM 3D printing
Summary:The aim of the work is focused to understand the behavior of the special material proto-pasta's conductive PLA material with respect to different FDM print parameters. As the special material is capable of leading electricity too, both mechanical and electrical tests were taken to understand the response of special material's behavior. And so, the whole experimental part was categorized in such a way that, first part of the experiment deals to study the material response for mechanical testing and other part of the experiment continued by measuring the electrical resistance of the material for printed samples with few different print parameters and measured at different temperatures. In this experiment the specimens printed for testing (both tensile strength and electrical resistance) was done through Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), an extrusion process that integrates with Additive Manufacturing(AM) methods. Finally, the outcomes were tabulated and represented through tables, graphs respectively.
