Title of the thesis:Moderné metódy akcelerácie numerických výpočtov s použitím GPGPU a CLUSTER technológii v strojárenstve pod OS Linux v prostredí HPC Pelikan
Summary:Hlavným cieľom tejto práce bolo popísať možnosti využitia grafických procesorov a výpočtových sietí (klastrov) na akceleráciu matematických výpočtov. Pri testovaní som využil grafický procesor spoločnosti NVIDIA a počítačovú sieť pozostávajúcu zo 4 počítačov. Ako medzi softvér (middleware) pre výpočtovú sieť som použil voľne dostupné softvérové riešenie Pelican HPC na báze operačného systému Linux , konkrétne Ubuntu. Na testovanie som využil voľne dostupné metódy a návody. Ďalej som využil softvérové prostredie Matlab-u a jeho ekvivalentu GNU Octave pre testovanie v prostredí PelicanHPC.
