Title of the thesis:Determination of Pitting by Vibrodiagnostics
Summary:Author in this thesis deals with investigation of wear on HCR (High Contact Ratio) gears, by using vibroacoustic diagnostics. FZG test rig was used for making test of HCR gears lifetime at various loading levels. Author per-formed with help of B&K PulseTM multi-purpose analyzer, frequency and also cepstrum analysis of dynamic characteristics of gear sets from run in until the required value of wearing was reached. He consequently elaborated amplitudes of mesh frequency components and their sidebands, obtained from spectrum and cepstrum in software MatlabTM. Author compared resultant values with percentage of pitting occurrence at tested gears sets. Au-thor could attain the result, useful for non-disassembling monitoring the level of wear out the gear set in time period before single failure come into existence. This thesis manifests great advantage of using vibrodiagnostics method for di-agnosis of various problems related with rotating parts of the machines.
