Title of the thesis: | Frequency and Modal Analysis of Gear Set |
Summary: | In present, the lowering of production costs and simultaneous increment in production quality is very accentuated. The speed of production is constantly in-creasing in order to produce a larger amount of products in a shorter time period. Because of the increasing demands for production the machine parts are exposed to more extreme loading. Frequency and modal analyses are very powerful tools for determining excessive or harmful vibration which should be avoided. The goal of the thesis is, by means of frequency and modal analyses, to compare the operation frequency spectrum with natural modes of the structure. After the suitable measurement point is selected a frequency analysis is performed and the main sources of vibration are detected. Modal analysis is performed by simulation and experiment. |
Key words: | frequency spectrum, frequency analysis, simulation, modal analysis, vibrodiagnostics, natural frequencies |
