|Summary:||This diploma thesis deals with the non-cooperative spin crossover in a series of complexes possessing two magnetically active iron(III) centres, where exchange interaction can be an important factor. For this intention a model was proposed, which employs the formalism of spin Hamiltonian and statistical physics. Having optimized the input set of eleven independent parameters, a satisfactory reconstruction of measured effective magnetic moment, magnetization, and high spin ratio was achieved. Some exceptional kinds of behaviour as non-complete spin crossover, more-step spin conversion or magnetic field induced spin transition are involved in the model as its natural features. The proposed approach provoked a more general definition of the high spin ratio, which is meaningful for an individual molecules and when magnetic field is applied also dependent upon the molecule orientation (crystal orientation).|
