Title of the thesis:Dynamic optimization of processes
Summary:This work is aimed to solve dynamic optimization problems. Secondly, the aim of the work is to study methods which helps us to solve dynamic optimization problems. In this work we are dealing mainly with two numerical methods. The first method is control vector parametrization (CVP) and the second is orthogonal collocation (OC). We also discuss several approaches for computing gradients, which are very important in the computing algorithm. The work is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the theoretical basis for solving optimization problems. In the second part we show the application of the methods and procedures in several optimization problems.
