Summary:	Práca sa zaoberá predovšetkým funkciou a konštrukčným riešením pruženia a tlmenia v motorových vozidlách. Druhá kapitola sa sústreďuje na hlavné požiadavky kladené na systém pruženia a konštrukciu konvenčných tlmičov. Ďalšie kapitoly sa zameriavajú na moderné technológie pruženia a to hlavne na semiaktívne systémy, ich konštrukciu, princíp regulácie, výhody, a ich analýzu v jednotlivých vozidlách.
