Title of the thesis:Graphical probability models and machine learning
Summary:Probabilistic graphical models are developed to describe dependence structure among random variables. In recent years vine copulas gained the attention for even high dimensional analysis. We use vine copula model to predict deviation of atomic positions in protein, where the dependence on physical properties of protein is non-linear and so the use of copulas is natural choice. We also develop probabilistic classifier based on vine copula and use it to tackle bimodal distribution of output data. This approach combines techniques that are rather novel or were not tested before.
Key words:vine copula, data analysus, graphical probability model
