Title of the thesis:Slope Stabilization
Summary:During the road construction near Zlar Nam Hronom, I had to solve slope stability and slope stabilization problem. From the ground investigation and geotechnical monitoring the slip surface was known at 8.61m (Kopecky. 2013) Because the slope was not stable I changed input data for slope stability analysis using back analysis method. Geotechnical parameters of the soil from ground investigation were 20 for F1-F2 (silts with gravel) and F5-F6 (Silts and clays), 19,5 for F7-F8 (Clay). Residual parameters of soil from back analysis are fi=10 for F1-F2, F5-F6 and F7-F8. Cohesion of soil is changed for all types of soils to 0,00 kPa. Form 8 for F1-F2, 10 for F5-F6 and 16 for F7-F8. At the first part of my design I had problem with water table, so we used the method of dewatering to change the water level (figure 6 and figure 7). After cutting the slope was not stable so I had to design a geotechnical construction to stabilize the slope. I choose pile wall as retaining structure to support earth pressure, with dimension 10,00 m length , area A=6,36E-01 m2/m. For stabilization I used two anchors, at 2.5 m and 5,0 m depth with 10,0 m length both of them .Slope alpha of anchors is different for 1st and 2nd anchor, 20o and 25o. Root of both anchors lk is 5.00m Spacing between anchors is 1,0 m. The Anchors force is 79,39 kN and 312,36 kN. Geotechnical design is according to EN-1997-1. I used design approach 2 - reduction of actions and resistances (DA2).
