|Title of the thesis:||Valuable Chemicals from Plant Materials|
|Summary:||The extractive substances from several Nonwoody species (flax and hemp) and spruce bark were studied by accelerated solvent extraction (ASE). ASE was carried out by ethanol and the temperature was 80, 120 and 160°C. The spruce bark sample was also studied by Soxhlet extraction. Structural characterization and thermal analysis of the extractives were carried out by using microFTIR and TGA analysis. It was found that with increasing temperature increases extractivity substances in all evaluated samples. The microFTIR analysis was used to identify the extracted substances.|
