Title of the thesis:Assessment of landslide areas in the motorway route
Summary:Currently the construction of the D1 motorway in Slovakia is under way in the Lietavská Lúčka - Dubná Skala section. In addition to the significant tunnel "Višňové" is the highway route in the section about 5km long, guided by bridges, slopes and embankments. With regard to the geological structure, this surface section passes through 5 significant landslides. One of the most significant is the landslide area in km 1.1-1.6. The maximum depth of the landslide is about 10-12 m and during the construction, the activity of some parts of the landslide was recorded by geotechnical monitoring. Through the landslide area passes the bridge object 202-00 in approximately 1.35-1.65 km. The four pillars of the bridge are situated at the toe of the landslides and are directly threatened by its activity. The aim of the diploma thesis was to assess the stability of the landslide area in 4 profiles without construction activity, based on stability calculations. The second objective was to assess the effectiveness of remediation measures on slope stability implemented in the form of drainage boreholes. In the case of insufficient stability of the landslide, it was necessary to design and calculate the need for further remediation measures. By stable calculations, it has been demonstrated that even after dewatering, the required degree of safety for the landslide area with pillars no. 30 and 40, located at the forefront of the landslide. That's why I designed and calculated to provide piles of 30 and 40 pile walls with a length of 14m diameter 0.9m with a spacing of 1.3m. For pillar 30 the pile wall must be anchored.
