Limit load on continuum beam
|Summary:||The topic of my bachelor thesis was to determine the ultimate load at the specified steel continuous beam, due to the dead load and a system of forces that formed the monotonously load. In the theoretical part I became familiar with the issues and necessary procedures and therefore I have presented the main relationships and practices. The specified continuous steel beam was 5 times statically indeterminate shaped of I cross-section and during the gradually rising loads five plastic joints were established before the occurrence of the kinematic mechanism. The individual parts of static analysis were done using the computer program of prof. Ravinger. I checked the results obtained using kinematic theorema. The issue that I have decided to process is extensive and it falls into a number of other details of the design of such a construction that I would with regard to my experience could not even taken into account.|
