Title of the thesis:Structural analysis of a rotary symmetric circular plate
Summary:The topic of my final bachelor thesis was to write the study on the method of an analysis of a rotationally symmetric plates loaded by static load in two variants -- one of them supported with vertical supports as well as a plate rested on elastic foundation. In the first part of my thesis I briefly deal with the issue of circular structures in construction practice, resulting also from the rich historical experience. The next part of the work is devoted to the issue of an analysis of rotationally symmetric plates. Briefly listed, the general assumptions and equation in cylindrical coordinates in two alternatives - without or with the interaction with the elastic foundation -- are presented. The crucial part of my thesis is the calculation of deformations and forces on the two internal structural members of the structure the pool with restaurant. The first of them is the structure of the floor between the swimming pool and the restaurant, it is a circular plate with a hole in the centre, fixed into the inner cylindrical wall with a radius of 1.5 m, also supported by the columns with a radius of 11.5 m and 21,5 m. I solved this problem like the continuous two-span rotationally symmetrical plate, in the work a solution of the coefficients C1-C8 using the boundary conditions resulting from the support of the structure are presented. Some numerical results as well as charts of internal forces and deformations are presented. Similarly, I have proceeded the structure of the base plate of the circular pool, which is rested on elastic foundation. As in the first case, the coefficients of the equations C1 and C2 are derived from the boundary conditions. Finally some results of this analysis are again referred in numerical tables and charts of forces and deformations.
