 Title of the thesis: Transfer Node Railway Station Devínska Nová Ves Summary: This work is dealing with the Railway Transfer Node in Devinska Nova Ves. With growing transport relations among the cities and suburbs, the number of passengers is continuously increasing. The current layout of the node is highly inappropriate, with bus stops being scattered into two different locations, the non-existence of pedestrians crossings and the absence of a parking facility in the area of the station. Firstly, there is an introduction which presents the analysis of the problem, goals of thesis and the approach in order to succeed this. On the second chapter there are some general information about Park and Ride systems, with specialization in Bike and Ride and systems of Bike Parking. Afterwards on the next chapter follows the traffic analysis in the area according to my personal observations and data generated by the Slovak Ministry of Transportation. On the fourth chapter there is the option analysis concerning the rearrangement of the layout and on the fifth chapter on the fifth chapter it is presented the two possible variants, that are proposed. In conclusion as you may see, the most convenient proposal, for the regeneration of the area, would be Variant B.
