[Bachelor thesis] -- Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Chemical and Food technology: ÚM -- Department of Management of Chemical and Food technology. - Suvervisor: Ing. Monika Zatrochová, PhD. Bratislava: STU, 2012, 57 p. The aim of the thesis entitled The bank system in SR is to characterize and analyse the banking system in Slovakia and then compare banking product and services of selected banks. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical banking system SR. Part of this chapter is a theoretical description of the Eurosystem, eurovalu, ECB and NBS. The second part is characterized by commercial banks in Slovakia, as their function, structure, capital and products. The third chapter analyzes the commercial banks and banking products compared four largest banks, according to the income statement in year 2011. The main product, which compares a student bank account selected banks. The findings may help to make decision of choosing the most suitable banking products to this target group.|
