Title of the thesis:Smart Measurement System of Accelerator and Brake Pedal Position in a Formula Student Electric Vehicle
Summary:The main goal of thesis is the theoretical adaptation of functionality of the metering position of pedals in electric vehicle. It analyzes the solutions of metering method selection for the brake and accelerator pedal. Another aim is to outline the electrical part of pedal system application in practice. The reader is acquainted with the basic limiting rules of Formula Student competition. Also, the analysis of parts needed for proper functionality of pedal system is performed. The concepts resolutions from past years are mentioned and compared. The end of the thesis is focused on custom-made solution scheme, implementation of this solution and presentation of measured findings. The custom-made scheme of solutions describes the pedal system mechanically and electrically. The proposed program conception is also included. In the implementation, the reader is familiarized with detailed hardware and software aspects. The measured values are presented on graphs exported from electric system telemetry. The thesis is demonstrated by the properly tested functionality of the electric vehicle during a ride.
