Title of the thesis:Application of RTLS localization systems in industrial practice
Summary:Workplace safety is one of the most important parts of the production process, which is being supervised very strictly these days. The arrival of automation has opened the door to new technologies to ensure workplace safety. One of these technologies is the RTLS system, which allows real-time localization. This bachelor thesis consists of seven parts. The first, second and third part deals with the issues of RTLS systems and technologies, which are used to collect data from the monitored area. In the fourth part there are described the methods of processing the collected data and the calculation of coordinates of the sculpted object. The fifth part deals with the localization modules whose position the system monitors. In the sixth and seventh part, the thesis deals with the Sewio portfolio and the implementation of their RTLS system into the robotized workplace. The conclusion points to the shortcomings of the RTLS system as a security element.
