Title of the thesis:The use of wireless data processes in engineering
Summary:The aim of diploma thesis is to introduce the reader to the basic concepts related to Wireless Technologies and their use in engineering. The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to general wireless technologies, and then a more detailed description of the Wi-Fi technology. The second chapter describes the security mechanisms of data transfer and data encryption methods used in commercial Wi-Fi technology. The third chapter deals with the uses of the Wi-Fi technology in engineering using ZigBee protocol and its associated equipment XBee. The fourth chapter presents again ways to ensure the security of data transmission, but this time used in the industry. The final chapter is devoted to creating an automated system using XBee technology. It contains the steps of programming XBee modules and management program in MATLAB. End of chapter consists of the results and evaluation of system performance.
