Title of the thesis:Technologies used for treatment of electrodes on robotic workplaces of car body resistance welding
Summary:The most used way of car body welding in today is spot resistance welding. It is welding of clad plates, which uses the heat generated by switching electric current through a welded material. Working tool for spot resistance welding are welding electrodes. These welding electrodes are frequent wear. In welding of car body there are three different forms of wear electrodes. These forms of wear are: mechanical wear, changing the chemical composition of the working area and contamination of electrodes desktop. In the automotive industry are used electrodes with replaceable tips. In the case of wear is not necessary to replace the entire electrode but only replace the top. To increase the life time of the electrode tips are used different methods. These methods are updating of welding parameters, milling and forming.
